HostStyled ("we", "us") runs hoststyled.com, a free email newsletter for short-term rental hosts, and a shop selling digital templates. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Your email address, when you sign up for the newsletter or the free Guest-Ready Checklist. You may also choose to share your first name.
Messages you send us, if you email us.
Basic usage data, such as whether a newsletter email was opened or a link was clicked, collected by our email provider. Our website host may also keep standard server logs (like IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

We do not ask for payment details on this website.

How we use it

To send you the checklist and the newsletter you asked for.
To reply to your messages.
To understand which content is useful so we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Services we use

We rely on a few trusted providers to run things. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

Email newsletter: Kit (ConvertKit) stores subscriber emails and sends our newsletter.
Shop: digital products are sold through Etsy. When you buy on Etsy, Etsy handles your order and payment, and its privacy policy applies. We receive the order details needed to fulfill it.
Website hosting: Cloudflare.
Fonts: this site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes (for example, if we add analytics), we'll update this page.

Your choices

Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of every email.
Access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@hoststyled.com. We'll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active list, except where we need to keep a record to honor your request.

Children

This site and newsletter are meant for adults running short-term rentals and are not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will show when it last changed.
